Aaron R. Yost, CPL, is a Managing Partner of Percheron, LLC. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Percheron.
Aaron began his career as a contract field Landman with Mason Dixon Energy in upstate New York, and spent subsequent years managing projects in the Appalachian Basin states of New York, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio. In 2010, Aaron was promoted to Vice President—overseeing all of Mason Dixon Energy operations.
Aaron graduated from West Virginia University in 1997 with a B.A. in Sociology. He is an active member of the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL) and the Michael Late Benedum Chapter (MLBC) since 2006. Aaron earned his Certified Professional Landman certification (CPL) in 2011. He is currently the Region Director of the MLBC after previously serving as Treasurer, Secretary, Vice President and President. He’s served on and chaired several committees for AAPL including Publications, Bylaws and Policy Manual, and Annual Meeting Golf. Additionally, he was the Secretary of the AAPL Educational Foundation, Inc for two years. In 2015 Yost was awarded the AAPL’s Community Service award for founding and running the MLBC charity golf event that benefits West Virginia University Medicine Children’s as well as his involvement with coaching youth sports.
Aaron is a member of the Penn State ELM Program Advisory Board and a frequent speaker at West Virginia University’s ELM classes. He’s also a member of the West Virginia University Medicine Children’s Leadership Council which assists with promoting the children’s hospital and fundraising efforts.
