Vincent Caruso is a Managing Director for Percheron, LLC with 14 years of industry experience. Upon graduation from law school he worked at an admiralty and maritime law firm in Florida, representing clients involved in the production and transportation of offshore oil and gas, as well as responding to maritime oil spills.
Vin began his career in the energy industry with OGM Land Company in 2006 as a field landman, becoming a Crew Chief and then a Project Manager. Since 2010, he has managed projects in the Permian Basin region through Texas and New Mexico, as well as, the Gulf Coast region covering all aspects of land work. Vin previously held the position of Director, Gulf Coast – Energy.
Vin has managed and directed all land-related aspects of greenfield identification, development and acquisition projects, multistage operational exploration and production projects, and acquisition & divestiture projects in the renewable energy, oil & gas, and hard mineral sectors throughout the nation for clients ranging from small startups to industry leading Fortune 100 companies.
Vin received a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree from Fairfield University and a J.D. from the University of Richmond where he spent time studying international shipping and property law at Emmanuel College at Cambridge University and was inducted into the Order of Barristers upon graduation. He is a member of the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL) where he is the past and incoming Chairman of the Education Committee, the Permian Basin Landman’s Association (PBLA) and the Houston Association of Professional Landmen (HAPL). He earned his RPL certification through the AAPL. He has published articles in industry periodicals regarding the globalization of domestic natural gas markets and hosted or participated in moderated discussion panels at industry events. Vincent earned and attained the rank of Eagle Scout with Bronze Palm as a member of Boy Scout Troop 117 in Stony Brook, New York.
